FFVII The First SoldierFunction introduction
Updated 19th January, 1:16 PM: The quirky puzzler, Red's Kingdom, is finally available on iOS and Apple TV.
Grab it now on the App Store for £3.99/$4.99 and go nuts.

If you're keen on a decent puzzler, Red's Kingdom might tickle your fancy - and it's only out in a week.

Red's Kingdom is a quirky puzzler with some old-school mobile flare. Help out the scatty squirrel to rescue your father and the golden nut from the dastardly Mad King Mac. Solve puzzles, battle goons, and fight your way through the kingdom.

With 17 unique areas, you can discover hidden treasure, collect nuts (as most squirrels do), unlock special abilities, and more. Despite its initially simple character design, the levels are actually pretty stunning and I love the way Red curls into a ball to battle foes like Tails from Sonic the Hedgehog. It's very clean, very stylish, and hopefully plays just as good as it looks.

Red's Kingdom is slated for January 19th (next Thursday) on iOS, Steam, and Apple TV.
Wheel of Knight Mod Wheel of Knight v1.0.5 mod Features:The game has been modified for a large number of currency! One slight mistake leads the Gladiator to death.A challenge that does not allow mistakes, where is the end?How many monsters can you handle. Can you survive the challenge that gets harder and harder?[How to enjoy Spinner Knights]1. A MAN committed a murder, and was pursued by the relations of the man whom he murdered. On his reaching the river Nile he saw a Lion on its bank and being fearfully afraid, climbed up a tree. He found a serpent in the upper branches of the tree, and again being greatly alarmed, he threw himself into the river, where a crocodile caught him and ate him. Thus the earth, the air, and the water alike refused shelter to a murderer.
"She is going to think it over and decide very soon."

Tomorrow Corporation has revealed that its next game is a "puzzle game for nerds" that it calls Human Resource Machine.

No platforms have been announced yet but we're going to go out on a limb and say that mobile is pretty likely.

What we can tell you is that the game will have you using your little workers to solve the puzzle in each level. Once you do, you'll get promoted to work on the next floor of the towering skyscraper it all takes place in.

Apparently, each level represents a year, so it seems likely that the game is an appropriation of the corporate ladder, i.e. you use your workers and get closer to the top.

Perhaps it's a cynical take on the dog-eat-dog world of business. It being called Human Resource Machine certainly alludes to that.

Unfortunately, it's not possible to tell quite yet as we don't have more information about the game to go on. But Tomorrow Corporation says more is to come very soon.

Oh, and if you need reminding, you'll probably know Tomorrow Corporation for its previous puzzle adventure Little Inferno.

Or, if not that one, you surely know about World of Goo. That's one of the games that the people at the studio worked on before at 2DBoy.

So we can hopefully expect for Human Resource Machine to be just as interesting as those two puzzle games are. We'll let you know more about it once we get the info.

THE LION wearied Jupiter with his frequent complaints. "It is true, O Jupiter!" he said, "that I am gigantic in strength, handsome in shape, and powerful in attack. I have jaws well provided with teeth, and feet furnished with claws, and I lord it over all the beasts of the forest, and what a disgrace it is, that being such as I am, I should be frightened by the crowing of a cock." Jupiter replied, "Why do you blame me without a cause? I have given you all the attributes which I possess myself, and your courage never fails you except in this one instance." On hearing this the Lion groaned and lamented very much and, reproaching himself with his cowardice, wished that he might die. As these thoughts passed through his mind, he met an Elephant and came close to hold a conversation with him. After a time he observed that the Elephant shook his ears very often, and he inquired what was the matter and why his ears moved with such a tremor every now and then. Just at that moment a Gnat settled on the head of the Elephant, and he replied, "Do you see that little buzzing insect? If it enters my ear, my fate is sealed. I should die presently." The Lion said, "Well, since so huge a beast is afraid of a tiny gnat, I will no more complain, nor wish myself dead. I find myself, even as I am, better off than the Elephant."
"Oh, no, no, NO, Marilla. He can't--nothing can ever do that. He has his own place, my dear, wee man-child. But little Joy has hers, and always will have it. If she had lived she would have been over a year old. She would have been toddling around on her tiny feet and lisping a few words. I can see her so plainly, Marilla. Oh, I know now that Captain Jim was right when he said God would manage better than that my baby would seem a stranger to me when I found her Beyond. I've learned THAT this past year. I've followed her development day by day and week by week--I always shall. I shall know just how she grows from year to year--and when I meet her again I'll know her--she won't be a stranger. Oh, Marilla, LOOK at his dear, darling toes! Isn't it strange they should be so perfect?"

Embracelet, from the creator of the fantastic Milkmaid of the Milky Way, is coming to iOS later this year and we can't wait. If you feel the same then we've got a great little exclusive here for you.

The developer, Machineboy, has exclusively released to us a trailer which was lined up to be used for the mobile submission of Embracelet. It means that we get another look at the wonderful, low-poly world which we'll be, almost certainly, exploring at the end of the year.

If men had all they wished, they would be often ruined.
